From the Pastor’s Heart…
If there is one thing that most people will agree on it would have to be we all long for a place to belong and know we matter. I can say Woodland Baptist Church is such a place, one that cares for the people in this community and beyond. Its location may appear remote, but the Lord is working through the people here to make a big difference in this life.
Woodland Baptist Church is God’s mission action center in this area just outside of Brownsville, TN. We are involved in the kingdom of God, seeking His will, and loving one another as we grow deeper in the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:18-19). We believe in the word of God and we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16). We preach and teach Jesus is “the way, the truth and the life,” (John 14:6). We serve one another, encourage one another, and support one another in the life experiences we all share.

If you are searching for a place to make a difference, and sense the Lord leading you to become a part of His family here, please know you are invited to worship the Lord with us! Woodland is a place where we celebrate the reality of what Jesus Christ does in the life of people. We gather to praise Him! We grow in the knowledge of Christ and go minister in His name in whatever and wherever His Spirit directs!

You can join by professing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and follow through with believer’s baptism; or if you have accepted Christ and need to make it known, I would love for you to speak with me about building on that commitment. If you belong to another Baptist church and would like to join, we will accept you by transfer of membership with us, or by statement of faith in Christ Jesus with a desire to unite with us and serve the Lord.
